Water Trickling Inside The Microstore
What to do when you see excessive condesation inside your microstore.
Because your microstore is opened often, it is normal to see some condensation on the walls, products, and glass. However, if there is a steady drip or lingering condensation, you will want to check the following:
Checks
✅ Check product placement
-
Do not push items directly against the back wall.
-
Keep vents clear for airflow.
✅ Check humidity & traffic
-
High humidity or frequent door openings can cause temporary condensation.
-
This usually resolves once the fridge cycles and your fridge is okay.
✅ Check the door seal.
-
Close a dollar bill in the door.
-
If it slides out easily, the gasket may be letting in warm air, and you should submit a ticket.
✅ Wipe & monitor
-
Wipe away the water.
-
Check back after 1–2 hours to see if the trickle returns. If a trickle returns within this time, submit a ticket.
✅ Check the fan
-
Listen to hear if the fan is running. If the fan is not running, submit a ticket.
‼️ Reminders
-
Units must be in a conditioned environment.
-
Avoid overloading shelves or blocking vents.
-
Always stock products with space for airflow.
