Now let's talk about what you will physically need to operate the microstore. Some of these are included in your purchase, others are not and will need to be provided by your organization. This article was sent to the Project Manager early in the launch process. It is a good idea to follow up with them on the status of acquiring the items below.

Microstore
Merchandising Kit (sent separately from your fridge)
Shelving, End Caps, & Shelf Clips
Smart Stickers - these are what you apply to each of your products so your fridge can track inventory and expirations
Bluetooth Scanner - this is what you use to assign stickers to their associated products (aka "tell" the FoodSpot system that this particular sticker has been applied to a Cesar Salad that expires in 3 days)
Provided by You
Operating a FoodSpot microstore requires the following items from your team. You may already have these items, but some organizations may not and need a few weeks to get them approved. Please secure these items as soon as possible.
Dashboard Device - this is a laptop, desktop, or tablet your team will use to access the dashboard. It is on the dashboard where you add products to your system and assign smart stickers to those products.
Stocking Device - this is a tablet or smartphone your team will use to scan a QR code on the fridge to unlock it for stocking and rotating products.
Requirements
This device must be connected to the internet
This device must have a camera
Some operations use a single tablet for both their Dashboard Device and Stocking Device. Other operations use a laptop for the Dashboard Device, while their delivery people use their smartphones for their Stocking Devices. If you do not have these devices currently and need to request these devices from your IT department, please do so as soon as possible.
