# Connecting Your Microstore to WiFi

## How to connect your microstore to your local WiFi network

You have the option to connect your fridge to your local network [via ethernet cable](https://help.launchfoodspot.com/en/articles/9000801-connecting-an-ethernet-cable?hsLang=en) or through WiFi. To connect your fridge to WiFi, your network must meet the following requirements:

1. **Compatibility:** It works with WiFi standards 802.11g and 802.11n.
2. **Security:** It is secured with WPA2-PSK. In other words, it **cannot** connect if the network uses a landing page (i.e. free airport wifi, some hotel rooms, etc) or advanced security like 802.1X.
3. **SSID Visibility:** The WiFi network name (SSID) must be visible and not hidden.
4. **IP Address:** The IP address provided should be at most single NAT-ed (meaning it should pass through only one layer of network address translation).
