How to Run a CTMS Check (Castles-Apriva readers only)

CTMS checks are software updates for your Castle’s credit card reader.

CTMS checks are how your Castles credit card reader downloads updates from Apriva, the payment processor.

How to perform a CTMS Check

  1. Rapidly tap the bottom third of the credit card reader screen 5 times.

  2. A “Basic Information” screen should appear. Tap anywhere on the screen.

     

  3. Type "1234" and tap “OK”

     

  4. Tap “CTMS”

  5. Tap "CTMS Check”

  6. Tap “Yes"

  7. Your device will perform the check and may reboot. Do not unplug your microstore during this process.
